Kinetic Abstraction is based upon the exploration of movement, color, texture, shape, line, sound and mixed media.

 

Dixon has focused on his signature line style which is the focal point of motion on the surface of his pieces.  His lines have been quoted to be schematics, and moving street maps. 

 

Terry Dixon's background is in traditional studio art and digital media.  The digital media is translated through his animated line style that is juxtaposed across the surface of his work.
